Known as the eighth continent, Madagascar is the only place on earth where lemurs and chameleons live in the wild. Trekking for hours through high heat and humidity to photograph Sifaka and Indri Indri lemurs is a challenge, but the chance to see these remarkable creatures makes the climb well worth it. These primates are fast becoming endangered, many species already extinct, as Malagasy farmers slash and burn their way through lemurs' forest habitat.
